Review content:
First off, Flat Top Johnny's is the only decent game of pool I've found in town.
Their tables and sticks are in good shape and the ambiance and lighting lend to a good game.
Aside from this, I have trouble recommending Johnny's. Their food is so-so, the beer menu, while admirably local, is limited and as stated elsewhere, their service is pretty much awful.
If you're just going to shoot a few rounds, the slow service may be easy to miss, but if you're hungry, thirsty or in a rush, you may be in trouble.
