Review content:
I first came to this establishment the first week of November. Prior to going to Nick's EVERY pawn shop I had ever visited, in a variety of states, always had a 90 day policy regarding pawns. In addition to this, prior to the expiration of your loan, one was given either a courtesy call/ postcard informing you of the fact. I got neither. So, imagine my surprise when, around the 2nd week of February, i went to pick up two pawns, which had been made two weeks apart, to learn that one of them had been taken. For getting $100, Nicke's had taken over $800 worth of jewelry from me...Sold only two peices of them back to me for $100. So, not only am I out of a $500 bracelet, but I am also out of a $100 chain to go with the pendent i got back. It wasnt until they saw how upset I was did they inform me that, contrary to every other pawn shop around them, their loans are only for 60 days. NOWHERE in this establishment is this notice posted, nor do the associates inform you of this when making the pawn. Avoid this place at all cost. Other than finding my jewelry and not making me buy back MY own merchandise, there is no way this company could ever have made this right. If you are in need of some quick short term cash, find some other means other than visiting this establishment.
