Review content:
Ken's is a great example of how to create a neighborhood business that can compete in a field mostly dominated by big chains. It's clean, well-lit, and has an impressively diverse number of products without the cramped feeling some smaller markets get. They have a deli whose sandwiches, soups and prepared foods range from good to great, all markedly better than what you'd get in a supermarket. The employees are all very friendly and make a far greater effort to engage with customers than those at bigger stores. It even has its own parking lot. The main downside is that you are going to pay more for what you get. If you can afford the price difference then I wholeheartedly recommend it, as keeping a local, community-friendly business afloat is worth the premium.
