Businiess name:  BEE COOL HEATING AND AIR
Review by:  Pamela B.
Review content:
over a year ago, i met chris knettel of bee cool heating and air while i was a property manager. i should have known better at that time to not use him for myself. 90% of the jobs i sent him on were unsatisfactory and he repeatedly had to go back and do it again. i had recently purchased a house and he offered to install a master cool unit at no charge. after he installed it, it leaked constantly and supposedly he came out to fix it but it ended up damaging my new roof. he told me he would install a new ac/heating unit for $1600. i was making payments for two months totaling $900. all he did was knock out holes in my ceilings throughout, exposing the roof. i repeatedly called and asked why he hadn't come to do more work and his girlfriend, jackie kept telling me they're very busy and would get to it when they could. i finally asked for a written contract to either be faxed or sent by mail and never received it. after over one year, i had not other than to sue him. i lied to the judge and produced an invoice for $700 and said that was for installing the cooler. i told the judge how can he produce an invoice for something done over a year ago? well, the judge bought his story and i only won $220. he still hasn't paid and now i had to serve him with an "ORDER TO PRODUCE STATEMENT OF ASSETS AND TO APPEAR FOR EXAMINATION." After all the crap he put me through, i'll make sure i get my lousy $220 - it's better than nothing and, of course, it's the principal. in summary 'MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING."
