Review content:
I have gone to this hospital way too many times, as far as I am concerned. Most of the services were fairly good but the location is not good at all. It is right in downtown Minneapols, so the parking is poor, and the waiting rooms are scary - too many people on drugs, others with gunshot wounds, etc. There are always so many people there that the waiting is usually very long. I did have one bad experience with the receiving nurse, who claimed that my insurance did not cover my husband, who was in a lot of pain at the time. My husband would not stay there because they told us that we would have to pay out of our pocket at the time. The person ahead of us did not have any insurance and he was taken right in!! The hospital did call us later that day, after I had talked to my insurance company! They apologized for being wrong...... not a good feeling. There are way to many people sitting all evening, in the first floor waiting room with their children, just visiting; like they have no where else to go. I would only recommend this hospital if it is an emergency. They do have good doctors and nurses.
