I went to Astor Place looking to get spruced up for the holidays. I read such positive reviews and wanted to go to Irma or Rosa. I have thick Spanish hair and read they're really great with hair like mine. The big fat guy at the front insisted I go to NOEMI that she's the best. I wanted to touch up my grays so I asked her to match my dark brown hair. She used the wrong color and lightened it instead. MY HAIR IS ORANGE,One side of my hair is 1 inch shorter than the other. I have choppy layers because she used the razor when I asked her not to. Anyone who knows hair like mine knows you can't cut it the way she did. I'm a secretary in an office and cannot go to work like this. I complained to the front and this little guy -never got his name, said there was nothing wrong with my hair! My appearance is important to my bosses and now I have to figure out how to fix this. I'm upset because she didn't listen and then the guy wouldn't help me. What kind of a plkace doesn't let you go to who you want then ruins your hair and tells you that YOU"RE THE ONE WHO'S WRONG?????????? I'M SO UPSET, Save your money, avoid the place.
