Front entrance was clean and neat but as the door opened I was sick by the inside. I was inquiring about a small puppy that I viewed in the window. The sales girl, who was very polite, told me to take her back to a room and check her out. So my two year old in tow, I headed to the observation room. Passed the first room and then decided to just go in the last room. I put the puppy on the floor and noticed the remains of dog fecal matter all over the floor. I tried to keep my son off the floor but what child doesn't want to play with a puppy. As I picked him up he began to scream and I wondered why one of the four sales clerks hadn't been back to check on us. I decided to head back to the front desk because the odd stinch in the store was also making me ill. I spoke with the sales girl and she continued to be polite. I was leary about purchasing from a pet store but fell in love with the puppy. The sales girl did offer to keep the dog and let me pick her up at the back. I thought this was a nice idea since I was in the middle of the mall. Okay, I had the vet check today and the recommended vet was great. The puppy got a clean bill of health except for the worms she is being treated for. Honestly if the puppy hadn't caught my eye before the store opened, I wouldn't have stepped foot in the dirty store. I know it's a pet store but having fecal matter left on floors is just not right. Pros: Found a great addition to our family Cons: Fecal matter all over floors
