Sorry I ever entered her store. After four fittings and only three weeks before wedding, Helen still didn't have the dress finished for correct. Sloppy work, terrible serged hem instead of clean rolled hem, bust of dress off center, just a mess. My daughter cried when she looked in the mirror. We cut our losses and would not let her 'try again' at the alterations. Bridesmaid dresses were taken in so much, even though she 'pinned' them in place. Helen never marked dresses or even wrote down what each dress needed. Two bridesmaids could not even get their arms through the armholes. She charged $450 for alterations on three gowns that, after four attempts and fittings, still could not be worn. Wedding dress was abandoned and a new purchased elsewhere. Bridesmaid dresses were taken to a different shop and seamstress where they were taken apart and remade. PLEASE< PLEASE do NOT go through what we did. Stay away from this shop.
