Review content:
I felt totally blessed to have stumbled upon Franks (now called Harrison's). I've just moved to the area and was looking for someone reliable to check out a used car I was considering purchasing. Low on funds but needing a vehicle I took a car I was considering buying to these guys and as they put it up in the air I heard them say things like "oh no"...and "uh oh"....As soon as I heard that I said, "Just take it down, it's not worth buying this car if it's not in really good shape". So took it down they did and then........(YES REALLY) they told me I owed them nothing! "We didn't even do anything" they said. But they did. They sooo did. They saved a struggling artist money she does not have, a potentially dangerous car purchase and gave me an honest opinion while not asking for a penny! How often does that happen anymore? I was blown away and gave them 20$ for their integrity. I will never got to another mechanic in Chicago.
