This was was 1st experience with a True Salon, but not with Aveda product. I have always purchased products and have always been pleased, so I thought I would try the Salon. My appointment was made with Kim, who was awesome! Kim is very experienced and completed my cut and color beautifully....I would definetly recommend Kim, however, I was very disastified with the salon set up/layout. Chairs are side by side, 3 chairs in a row and 3 facing, it was noisy with all 6 chairs all crammed in the same area, and the color stations you are looking at a wall, definately not a spa atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy your experience. With such a large store front, apparently my expectation of the Salon was too high. I not a stranger to other salons, this was definetly a let down in regards to the Salon. That may not bother others but that is my time to relax and enjoy, not be overwhelmed. I may be able to overcome this just to have Kim take care of my hair needs again and try an make an appointment when the are not as busy.
