I've been a customer of Salon/Spa Venessa for a year now. I only have wonderful things to say about it - fr. the location, ambiance, services, affordable prices, Aveda products, & salon/spa staff to the people who actually work w/ me (Janet, Amy, Shane, Erin & Christine). I get weekly massages fr. Janet, monthly facials & waxing fr. Amy, & strive to get monthly manicures & pedicures fr. Shane. I've also received hair & make-up services fr. Erin & Amy respectively. I've received a body polish fr. Amy & recently had a hair cut & a damage remedy treatment fr. Christine. I am in this spa EVERY week!
I've been treated only w/ courtesy & professionalism by each & every staff I've had the chance of meeting/working with. Services are top notch! Prices are affordable considering they use Aveda products. I love the series prices where I basically get the 6th service free! Awesome! Regarding the review about using cheaper products, I wonder why the quality/scent of the products would stay the same if this is happening. I buy Aveda products from Salon/Spa Venessa & fr. Aveda stores at the malls. The products I choose to use for my services are the ones I typically buy & there's no difference that I can tell.
I am surprised at the negative reviews recently, mostly reviews about management & the front desk, nothing about the services. Makes me wonder if these reviews are from former employees out to get Salon/Spa Venessa. In the one year that I've been a customer, some people have left to work for another salon/spa or to actually start their own business. It appears to me that these new business ventures are being mentioned under Salon/Spa Venessa's reviews. Trying to get business maybe?!
I highly recommend Salon/Spa Venessa. They have a loyal customer in me. I've gotten my co-workers gift cards for Salon/Spa Venessa. Those who've used the gift cards plan to come back. I wouldn't recommend any other salon/spa in the area. There's only one Salon and Spa Venessa!!!
