Ths impressive superstructure is quite historic and people flock to see this cathedral for its workmanship. Forty-five minute tours leave the Visitors' Center every half hour. The volunteer guides show the 10,661 panes of glass that give the Cathedral its name, the ninety-foot tall doorways, the organ with its 16,271 pipes, and the carillon with its 52 bells. The relaxing Quiteness and peaceful surroundings inspire the mind and relax the body. Its a wonderful place to ruminate on improtant decisions
The Visitors' Center also offers refreshments and a gift shop.
