I have been going to Mystic Hair since it first opened at its location off of Nort Dale Mabry Avenue - about 7 years now. Up to that point I had been going from Salon to Salon around Tampa Bay, traveling as far South as South St. Petersburg and as far North as New Tampa, finding some very good technicians here and there, but inevitably suffering from "client complacency" - you know, the salon tech that treats you like a queen at first, but then over time takes less time with your hair, runs late often and sometimes doesn't even fully style your hair? No matter how great those first few appointments were with my past stylists, it always seemed to get "stale" after the first few visits. I have almost always had an oustanding experience at Mystic Hair - from the time you walk in the door and are offered an assortment of refreshments through the service and check out. The staff are "groomed" from the front desk up, resulting in a more dedicated staff that intends on staying longer term. The ownership takes what they do extremely seriously, constantly educating and training technicians in new techniques and creative styles, and they take pride in their salon and its reputation. I would highly recommend Mystic Hair.
