Review content:
I received a $250 gift certificate for Ummelina for Christmas two years ago and finally decided to go use it. Ummelina came highly recommended so I was pretty excited. I scheduled a 60 minute massage ($90) and a facial ($120) and thought I would have enough for tips (or I could save it again to use towards something else. First of all, the massage was okay. It wasn't great and I have certainly had better for less. The girl was nice and friendly so otherwise I have no complaints. Moving on to the facial...I would have to say this experience turned me off of facials going forward. The main reason why I even felt compelled to write a review is because today, 5 days later, I am (STILL) more broken out than I have been since I was in high school! I'm embarrassed to be at work and had to cancel lunch plans yesterday because it is so bad. The final straw was when the girl at the front desk said I owe $250 for services (not including tip). She then broke it down so I could determine how much tip to pay each person and it was, sure enough, $90 for the massage and $120 for the facial. Hmmm...I can still only get to $210. I was irritated at that point and just wanted to leave. Overpriced, bad experience. Pros: Nice people Cons: Overpriced, mediocre massage, facial made me breakout
