Review content:
There is a common theme in how this school's philosophy has impacted parents and their children. This school has put many parents through traumatic experiences by refusing to recognize that every child is an individual with individual needs. Safety is mentioned over and over by the directors as a response to parent postings here as an excuse for masking the fact that developmental individuality is not welcomed.
It is in fact discouraged and criticized, and the child is punished by being excluded and even thrown out, hurting the child's self esteem and confidence.
Intelligent and bright children were not allowed to develop at their pace. The directors are not willing to adapt or tailor the program in any way at all or work with any child in an effort to support the parents.
Nor have they demonstrated any willingness to participate in the development of a child who does not conform to their perceptions. Directors are not interested in what is best for the child and working with the parent to identify areas of opportunity, therefore they do not communicate with parents and instead a parent gets a "surprise" letter notifying them that the child is expelled for reason that the parent had no knowledge of and that could have been easily resolved. Many children who were declared "potty untrainable" by them, were fully trained within 2 weeks after leaving their school with minor effort. This shows that they don't work with a child to potty train and blame the child for the teachers' lack of effort/skills.
