Review content:
Have you seen the newest YMCA facility in Grand Rapids??? You've got to check out the new David D. Hunting YMCA! It's awesome ~ it has locker rooms for ladies, men, young girls, young boys, and families.
There area 3 pools ~ one is for competitive swimming, one's a lap pool and one's really a lazy river that has a zero entry. That means that you can sit at the opening of the pool with your young child and let them walk around, giving them some opportunity for exploration in the water setting. You still need to obviously watch them and be right there. There are lifeguards everywhere as well. Our 3 kids (11, 3, 1) all love the pool area.
There are also many different areas for working out. And some that even look over the pool area so you can work out and still watch your child in their swim lessons. :O)
If you haven't been to check it out, you really need to get a guest pass and check out the new Y!
