Review content:
I found Prestige Barber Shop after searching online for a good barber. After reading the reviews which was very positive, I had high expectations. After walking in, there was a fat lady who greeted me. I told her that I would like a regular haircut and she politely said Alright have a seat in the back and I will help you. Then, she asked me what i would like and I asked if there was a book of hairstyles for me to look at and she replied no. Another barber (a short, fat man) then very rudely said you asked for a haircut which is different from a hairstyle. The fat lady barber told me to take the seat in the middle. I then asked if there was absolutely no pictures of hairstyles to look at. She said no and told me politely to come back a different time with a picture. I left the barbershop and after two minutes decided just to get a regular trim and no fancy haircut. This is when the fat lady barber started to get an attitude. She rolled her eyes and said how much do you want me to cut. I told her medium and she said to show me with my fingers. She very rudely then said is this what you want me to cut or leave. I said cut. I sat down and she was very clearly taking her frustration out on me. She yelled do you understand the one inch finger rule. I then said this place is full of people with attitudes and left. DO NOT COME TO THIS BARBERSHOP. THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE MOST LIKELY WRITTEN BY LOYAL FRIENDS/FAMILY OR BY THE BARBERS THEMSELVES. THIS BARBERSHOP LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS IN HARLEM THEN IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN. MY ADVICE IS TO SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GO TO AN UPSCALE BARBERSHOP WHERE THE TREATMENT WILL BE BETTER. THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE AT PRESTIGE BARBERSHOP.
