Liposuction was initially kind of a joke between my husband and me. I had been working out for months and was losing weight from everywhere (I was even losing shoe sizes) but my abdomen, waist and hips didn’t seem to budge. I must get it from my father’s side of the family because that’s where they all carry it! I was approaching my 30th birthday after a pretty rough decade in my 20’s. I joked to my husband that if I can’t lose this I’m getting liposuction. I started looking around and came across Sono Bello. I made the call and had a consultation scheduled. I met with the wonderful Susanne who put all of my concerns at ease and told me they could help me! I scheduled my procedure and those 5 weeks were the longest five weeks of my life! I knew a HUGE change was coming!
I had my pre-op with my surgeon Dr. Hagstrom and was immediately put at ease. I knew I was in good hands. He made feel comfortable about the procedure and what I should expect.
I went in the next week for my procedure and to say I was excited was an understatement, I was giddy! One thing I remember specifically was near the end of the procedure he said here comes your waist…and he wasn’t kidding. I’m no longer apple shaped…I have a waist! Dr. Hagstrom is truly an artist!
Knowing everyone has a different tolerance for pain, I personally was able to go back to work Monday after my procedure on Saturday. I took Tylenol for pain but after a few days didn’t need it.
It has been about three weeks since my procedure and I can’t even begin to tell you how pleased I am with the results so far! My confidence is back and I have a new zest for life! I am able to wear seasonally appropriate clothes during the summer instead of just not going out or wearing long pants and oversized shirts just to hide everything underneath. Two weeks after my procedure I was able to go clothes shopping and actually enjoy it. Buying clothes one and two sizes smaller than I was wearing was amazing and I know it’s only going to get better! I have a cruise coming up at the end of August as well as my 30th birthday and I am so excited to start my 30th year with the confidence I had at 16!
I cannot recommend Sono Bello enough! They have given me my old self back!!
