After a horrible year in 2010, I decided to do something for myself in 2011....get rid of the massive fat rolls around my waist! Turning 40 is hard enough without watching your mid section grow and grow despite eating healthy. Running errands one day I heard the radio ad for Sonobello and set up my consultation right away with Susanne. Before my consultation I reviewed Sonobello reviews on line and was prepared for upselling and hard core sales tactics. Boy was I surprised when I met Susanne....she is very personable, honest and supportive. She did not try to talk me into anything ... she was very informative and honest about the procedure and realistic results. I did not feel rushed or pressured in any way! In fact, there were a couple hiccups before my surgery date (change in MD and surgery dates) which Susanne addressed promptly and professionally. She kept my hope for a better me alive when I thought the whole surgery was not going to happen and even followed up with me AFTER the surgery to check in several times. I can not say enough positive things about Susanne and what a positive impact she has had on my experience.
Now for the surgery...I am doing 6 sections so I had to break up my surgery into two sessions. My abdomin was completed 5 weeks ago and the rest is to be done this month. Dr Hagstrom is my surgeon and he is a SAINT! I was quite nervous and a bit wimpy during the procedure so he went at a good pace for me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Warning - you are awake during the surgery and the procedure is not comfortable. In fact, it down right hurts and it is long (mine was over 3 hours for the entire abdomin)! However, the recovery was super easy. The first day after the surgery is the worst due to all the bandages and goo/drainage. But every day after is easier and I really only needed pain pills for the day of the surgery and 2 days after!
It has been about 5 weeks since my procedure and I am pleased overall. You do have to really give your body time to heal and I am in the lumps and bumps stage but everyday things tighten a little more! I am down one size overall and hope I will tighten up to a 2 size decrease in the next couple months...fingers crossed.
Most people ask me if I would do it again given the chance....and I always say YES YES YES!!!! I cannot recommend Sono Bello enough and have already referred two friends :)
