Review content:
initially i went to the sacramento sonobello to get a second opinion on a doctor whom i think is great but he's in san francisco! the fact that sonobello only did smartlipo made the difference for me. the doctors are plastic surgeons and the staff is super nice and professional. after my consult with susanne i felt that this place would be the place for me. the only questionable part was the fact that they don't put you to sleep at all... that you're awake the whole time! i scheduled my appointment for a neck/jowl procedure on saturday, october 15 at 8 am. i can't take demoral so they gave me tylenol w/codeine, antibiotics, something to calm me down and they worked out perfectly. the only weird part of the procedure was when they inject the saline solution with lidocane to numb the whole area. no pain... just a weird sensation. once that took hold (after about 10 minutes), the doctor started the procedure. the wand that he used on me felt like a little motor that vibrated my head area very strongly. after he did this area he used a different wand and went over the entire area on again and then we were finished. there was absolutely no pain, anxiety or anything! i think the whole neck area took 1/2 hour!!! it couldn't have gone smoother! nancy the nurse and sara the assistant were so warm and friendly and made me feel calm throughout the procedure. dr. zingaro was very thorough and kind and i would recomend him to anyone... especially those of you who are nervous wrecks like me. i am all wrapped up now and have to keep this head gear on for 3 days ... but i feel absolutely fine. i think i'll just take advantage of what i went through today and watch movies and have my family wait on me! :) as for how i look? i have no clue. but anything would be an improvement to what i had! this is saturday but i feel great. if i had to i could go to work tomorrow... but the head garment stops me from going back to work for 3 days! oh... another thing... the clinic called me two times after the procedure was over and one of the calls was from the doctor himself! i say that's pretty good after care don't you? if i can figure out how to input pictures i will later.
