Review content:
My luncheon today at Oishi's with my nine year old grandson and his friend was fun. I learned the manager and the chef are from Thailand. I telephoned in the morning and made a reservation for three on their voice recorder. Later someone returned my call, and assured me that they would do the onion volcano trick, etc. We arrived around noon and were the only ones seated in the teppanyaki area, so we had all the attention of Pat, the chef. The manager told me they normally do not do the tricks for the noon diners, but since I had requested them and it was a special birthday lunch, the chef would perform them. The chef was funny and seemed to enjoy the boys and played all sorts of tricks on them. The food was good and the boys cleaned their plates, and gave Grandma thumbs up for bringing them here. I highly recommend this restaurant.
