Review content:
In town on business, I got on-line to find a local breakfast joint and stumbled on the Metro Diner located fairly close to the hotel. One review said the food was great but not-so on the service. I am here to rebuke that claim. Not only was the food phenomenal (we split the crab cake benedict - AMAZING! and the Yo Halla - frangelico marinated bananas and cream cheese stuffed inside of french toast style challa bread covered in strawberry/blueberry compote - Also AMAZING!), but the service was fantastic. Amanda was attentive as well as cute as a button and the manager and even an owner, Mark, checked on us repeatedly. They were fairly busy but didn't push for the turn'em and burn'em philosophy of many fast-paced diners. In short, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: food, service, food choices
Cons: limited off-street parking
