Review content:
This hole in the wall restaurant serves good, fast, and easy Thai Food for the busy college student. Thai Basil is located in the "Asian ghetto" of Berkeley and serves a wide variety of Thai food. Most students here get pad thai, as I always do, which is very good here. It's sweet, the noodles are crisp, and the peanuts compliment the noodles very well.
Thai Basil is cheap in price and that's why many UC Berkeley students come here for a quick, fast Thai meal. I personally like this place because I can just go, order the food, and leave. They are also opened very late, so is very good for students who study late at night and get hungry.
The only pitfall is that there are a lot of bums around the area and often pester students for money. I have been encountered by a couple around the Thai Basil area.
