Review content:
Cafe Pierre is the type of place where people feel comfortable. I have only been there once but could tell by the ambience and fellow diners that the locals that go there have "always' eaten there. There is a sense of familiarity and comfort when you go inside, the feeling that these people know good food and know where they can find it. It is the type of place, I feel, where you can tell the waiter you want "the usual." Cafe Pierre is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and it appears to be doing better than ever. I have passed by the place several nights in a row, and every night it is full. That's why I chose to finally dine there, after I realized that empty places usually are not the good places to get good food. I was correct in my decision to try Cafe Pierre... they have a collection of traditional French food, and you can find something for everyone to eat and be happy with. I went with my boyfriend and it was a great dining experience for a date... not necessarily an anniversary date, although others have said they went for that purpose. This is a kind of place where I can see my parents eating comfortably as well. All in all I would say it's worth every penny for the food and service.
Pros: good food, busy and prompt, atmosphere
