Review content:
I worked with a contractor who subcontracted to Robert Lennox for restoration of stained glass windows. His work was excellent and well executed. There were no problems with the contract, which is not usually the case. His other work, which we reviewed, is also fantastic and there were no bad reports on him. I particularly like his preservation philosophy used in the St. James Church restoration of "plating" which allows for the retention of original historic fabric, while introducing new fabric that replicates the original design. Excellent approach.
We consult on many historic churches, courthouses, and other buildings and see much stained glass and leaded glass restoration.
