Well martial arts, that's a complex topic. I've taken quite a few different classes and it kind of depends on what you want. Washington Shotokan teaches probably the most basic form of the martial arts. That is the least with flowery kicks, etc. It is a good solid form. The kind originally developed in Okinawa where martial arts are rooted. On the other hand, if you want to get fancy, you can check out the actual Bruce Lee school right here in Seattle. He invented his own form (watch Enter the Dragon about 100 times) to see what I mean. It is called Wushu and his old disciple teaches in the International District. I've been too terrified to go there, but it is at: Chinese Wushu & TAI Chi Academy 709 1/2 S King St Seattle, WA 98104-3017 View Map (206) 749-9513
