Review content:
Today was our 3 1/2 year old's very first dentist appointment. I was a little nervous going in, but everything went so well. The office waiting room is set up perfectly for kids, and kept my son happy and comfortable. When we went back Dr. Htet and the dental assitant made sure he was comfortable and engaged (asking him how many teeth he thought he had, etc.). Every step of the way they included him and kept his mind busy enough that he wasn't really thinking of what was going on. They both had such friendly, open natures, it would have been hard to not feel comfortable with them. The appointment went so well that we ended up doing the cleaning right then (usually the first appt. is split into two appt.'s to make the child more comfortable). When my son got out of the chair the first time he said "I did it...let's do it again!". This should tell you what a great experience it was. They were extremely informative about what I was doing right, and what I should be doing in the future. They gave us a ton of things to leave with (toothbrush, floss, sand timer for how long we should be brushing, sticker, toy from toy chest, and a balloon dog that the Dr. Htet did herself). I couldn't have been happier with Kid Care Dental and would reccomend them to anyone with children!
