Review content:
The only reason the General Store isn't getting 5 stars is because sometimes it is crowded.
It's a great place to hang out.
You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. The tables are of all sizes and shapes, and some are on the sunporch.
Great coffee.
Sells the New York Times on Sunday.
Great selection of gifts (clothes, card, bath products, more).
When John Kerry, 2004 presidential candidates, stayed near Spring Green to prepare for the 1st of the debates, the General Store was dubbed his unofficial campaign headquarters.
The General Store is where actors from the nearby American Players Theatre like to hang out.
