Review content:
I saw a friend of mine and her hair looked really cute. She told me to go to Heat and raved about them. I went in with high expectations and I couldn't believe the chaos. My hair stylist was very sweet but very unprofessional. Her family (including children) decided to come by and hang out (not joking) while she was doing my hair. She was still working on another woman's hair and that woman was crying(again not joking). On top of that (yes there's more) her ex came by to hang out as well. The stylist recommended products that were being discontinued and could only be found in Los Gatos or on-line. During the hours that I was there, I was not offered a beverage or magazines to read while waiting. My hair dye washed out after one washing and the stylist left a big long chunk of hair in the back. My coworkers pointed out the long chunk of hair the next day when I went into my office. That was very embarrassing! I called the stylist and told her what happened and she told me to just cut it myself! I paid over 200.00 for the cut and color. That's without any perks! I talked to the friend who reccommended the salon and she said my experience was totally strange and not usual. It was dumb but I decided to give the stylist and salon one more chance. The second time, there wasn't any drama or family or ex's hanging out but my hair dye didn't take again. The second time cost me 170.00. I called the stylist to let her know the dye washed out. She was very nice and told me to come in. Did I mention that I am very busy and don't have time to live at a salon? I went in again and she dyed it without charge (of course). My hair dye is staying but (sheesh!) that was exhausting. I just don't have the time or energy to deal with all of that. I told another friend what happened and she confirmed that Heat has a very bad reputation. It's too bad because I really wanted to love it .
