Review content:
I used to frequent this place when I went to UP and lived close enough to walk/stumble to and from the place. This is NOT a high class place, to say the very least. It's frequented by the likes of toothless drunks, folks who still think it's appropriate to refer to women as "darlin" and "sugar," and mullet-sporting 40-year-olds who drive Firebirds. You know what I mean. But the beer is cheap (and they have a surprising number of microbrews), and the drinks are strong. If you go more than twice, the bartenders will remember your name and your drink. There's pool and it's okay to sit in a booth and play cards--if you can handle the smoke for as long as it takes to play a game.
