Review content:
This complex is decently priced, landscaping is beautiful (especially in the spring), nice neighbors, and okay parking.
I have been living here for about 8 months now and didn't have any complaints until summer came around. That's when we figured out that our a/c unit would go out every few days. We called the office and maintenance would come up quickly and fix it to the best of their ability. After it went out several more times, maintenance replaced the old unit with a new, digital unit. However, the digital unit didn't blow any cooler than 80 degrees (even if it was set on 60). There were several issues with the new unit, like a bent fan blade. Maintenance can't find a problem with the unit, but it won't cool my apartment more than 85 degrees. With this heat wave coming up, we're worried for our health (both having several symptoms of heat exhaustion and I have gotten an ear infection from having fans blow directly on me as an attempt to keep cool). A couple ladies from the office are very friendly, but the rude one called me in order to let me know that we are an inconvenience and that we are not required to have an a/c unit.
I didn't realize that paying your rent early every month and never addressing any complaints but the lack of comfortable conditions in an apartment I pay for makes me an inconvenience. Needless to say, we plan on buying out of our lease (but not before addressing our concerns about the warm refrigerator and mold forming in the cracks of the badly-sealed windows).
