I was not expecting excellence at a Pier 39 tourist restaurant. However I must say, that even with my poor expectations, I was still greatly disappointed. The service was uncomfortable. The table in front of mine waited 15 minutes for their check. Then upon leaving, were actually confronted about the mediocre tip! When my meal arrived it was cold and overcooked. After ordering dessert with ice cream, the waiter informed me that the kitchen didn't have time to warm the pie. It was the waiters' suggestion that prompted me to request it warm in the first place! While the Calamari appetizer was excellent, and watching families of tourists from all over the World was entertaining, I definitely will never order another meal at this restaurant.
