I've been going to Irma for a number of years now and would not even consider having my hair done by anyone else. That's because she understands the nature of my hair intuitively. All I have to do is say how many inches I want taken off and where I'd like it thinned out and she does it just right. Sometimes, I need the haircut for a special event and I know I can trust her not to cut it too short when that wouldn't be appropriate for the occasion. When I walk into work the next day, my co-workers notice and I tell them where I got it cut and by whom.
Last week, I walked into Astor Place looking like I had a lawn on my head. But, after Irma worked her magic on my hair, I looked my best. So, thank you Irma!
Besides how great she is at cutting hair, I think she's a really nice person.
