Review content:
This is a charming neighborhood bistro that I found trying to navigate the Seattle restaurant scene from Chicago. The evening of, our group doubled in size minutes before the reservation. I phoned to see if we could be accommodated, the host said she didn't think so, but immediately PHONED ME BACK in the middle of the Friday dinner rush to tell me that she could do it. When our group arrived, the host was absolutely gracious. She recommended the chicken, we tried it and the special, a halibut...in a word, FABULOUS. The slower pace was perfect for our dinner and highlighted that dining out is an event, the food, wine, conversation. Dessert, creme brulee and profiteroles weren't the best I've had, but good. Overall, this dining experience stood out and when compared to the guidebook favorites, aka Seattle institutions located in the Pike Place Market, Crow blew them away. Pros: Helpful Staff, Comfortable Room, Good Pace Cons: None
