Table For Six (T46) is neither an adventure activity service nor a matchmaking service. They are however good at fast-talking and giving glossy responses. As a Sacramento member I have attended events in Sacto and the Bay area. I wish I had read the reviews before I signed the contract with T46 in 07/2007.
The ad quoted below states that t46 approach is unique and takes the fear out of first dates. I will share the facts of what of they do. They are unique but the fear factor is amplified by T46s' unique approach.

T46 states in the contract ,"Therefore, our policy is that a refund will be available only if a Member has attended six (6) "Just for Two" introductions and fifteen (15) dinners or other events"
However, the scheduling of the dinners and the Just for Two (J4U) connections are set-up by T46 employees and it is T46 that has control over your (the client) attendance. I have one J4U arrangement in 18 months and it was the worst blind date set-ups I have ever had. A T46 employee (who by the way has no experience in or any clue of analyzing people) will call you and give you the name of the person and the time you are to meet at a pre-selected restaurant. Unless you ask you will be given no other information on your potential match, nor even a description. Absolutely nothing. I do believe this is called a blind and blind-folded/sided date. A T46 employee will not meet you there to introduce you to each other. T46 will use your not contacting them frequently for a J4U match as a defense that they were unable to meet the J4U requirement. Do not fall for it. If you used T46 and they failed you then file a complaint. For others- Document, document.
It is true that many men get to join for free or at a discount. T46 give various price quotes. I paid $1,995 for two years with a one year extended membership.
