I had been looking forward to my first visit to POV and was sadly disappointed. From the very first interaction to our early departure, I found it ridiculously pretentious and not customer-oriented. They really need 4 people (with secret service earpieces) to control who goes up the elevator? And move guests around velvet ropes? Arriving upstairs at 6:30 on a hot day, the sun was glaring in the open window. We managed to get seated out of the sun finally, but had to ask six times to have the window shade (which is strangely clear plastic) lowered. The bar was out of the first two wines we tried to order off the menu; the tonic in G&Ts was flat, and the server's attitude was beyond disinterested, frankly, rude. No room for more complaints.
