Review content:
We had a wedding to attend on Sunday, so my fiance took his 2 suits in on a late Thursday afternoon, asking if it will be done by Saturday. The lady said it would done by Friday, at which point he asked, "There won't be some rush charge, will there?" She assured us not. They were pricey - $16 for each suit, and a $1 upcharge per piece for the black wool because "it's a dark colour" and a $2 upcharge per piece for the cream linen because "it's a light colour." The most ridiculous thing I've heard - but it was late, and we just assumed they'd do a decent job for $38. On Sat, there was not only a charge for "next day cleaning" but a per piece charge for "lined items." Who makes an unlined suit jacket? We also mentioned the rush charge. The man just said "I didn't take the order." Later, we noticed a round, faded orange blotch around the pant zipper of the linen, and the black wool was COVERED in white lint, which we spent 30 minutes brushing and taping off. Not worth almost $50. Pros: None Cons: poor service, hidden charges, high fees, stained suits
