Disclaimer: I hate museums. Museums are generally painful for me. And to have to pay to get into one, well, that just takes the cake. But I have to say that even for museum loathers such as myself, this is one that must be visited. It's huge and it's got so many types of art. Even if you hate museums like me, go for the sake of being able to say you've been to the Met before. Because if you've been to NY and haven't been to the Met, everyone else around you will shoot you an evil look and think it's a tragedy. So I finally went to get everyone off my back. Saw the whole museum in about 3 hours. Glad I went, but probably won't be going back.
