Review content:
Andrew Cooke Magnet is in my opinon the best elementary school in Waukegan. You do have to test your children to be able to enter, which is usually done in Dec/Jan the year before for entry to kindergarten or first grade. Andrew Cooke is a Magnet school specializing in Science and Arts. Unlike other elementary schools in Waukegan, they have a seperate specialist teacher to teach art, music, and science instead of having those subjects taught by the students homeroom teacher. It is also the only elementary school in Waukegan that you can choose to go to. Most of the time, you attend the school in your neighborhood or closest to your home, that selection is made by your location. Students that attend ACM are bussed in from all over Waukegan, GREAT school
