Businiess name:  Sequoyah Middle School
Review by:  Ryan D.
Review content:
Most parents aren't told this when their kids go off to Sequoyah... but in addition to the kids in the Sequoyah district, this middle school also gets all the "problem" kids. Broken Arrow has taken a few of its middle schools and put "special needs" kids at each... on school gets all physically handicaped ones, one gets the metally handicapped ones. And Sequoyah gets kids with behavioral problems. These leads to violence in the school that is not extreme, but higher than the other middle schools in the area. And often, the teachers have to spend half the class time dealing with one or two unruly kids rather than teaching. If your kid is lucky enough to be in advanced classes, they may never encounter this. But even in the halls, being shoved into lockers just because you're nerdy is common... and it shouldn't be at that age. See if you can get your kid transfered to either Oliver or Childers.
