After reading several reviews from this site, I went to Salon Mingle for an appointment with Tina.
I have had a roller-coaster of a time trying to find a decent stylist in NYC over the past 10 years, after my move from California. Some of my experiences have been life altering and truly traumatic to say the very least. I had given up on NYC salons 5 years ago, and ventured into NJ and LI.
But, after reading all the user reviews about salon Mingle, I once again ventured back into NYC, and was delighted by the experience.
Tina was enthusiastic and ready to take on the challenge of the cut/style that I presented her. I brought photos which she took the time to view and to really understand what I was looking for.
I felt in confident hands while she was working her magic, and did not have to worry at all that I was going to be sent back to the stone ages with a disasterous cut.
To conclude, I left completely satissfied and very happy.
By the way, the staff was very friendly and attentive and I didn't feel rushed or forgotten about.
Highly recommend this salon!
