Review content:
My birthday Feb., 17, 2010 and my daughter and I go to the city for a Scrub/massage package $120. First time customers. Scrubber did not speak English and masseuse had a few words. Hail and hearty scrub and massage with steam room and sauna. Feeling great afterwards and get to desk. Masseuse also present with receptionist. Though $20 from each of us was a good tip. But receptionist ,"is that all, you need to give more, 2 women, did you not like them". Our smiles vanished and the good feeling we had started to ebb. The masseuse weighed in speaking Korean and looking very cross. "Give more' says the receptionist. Not being rich and needing some money for a snack before taking the long journey home we each came up with an extra $5. Still not satisfied. So, we left feeling guilty. These women worked very hard and they must not get much pay. Maybe they depend on tips. We both felt terrible that we could not afford more money and we were also very concerned for the women. An existential crisis since I am very involved with human rights work and I still feel guilty for the workers. Would have a hard time going back.Feedback?
Pros: Scrub and massage excellent
Cons: When leaving, too much pressure and guilt for more tip!
