Review content:
i went to oasis day spa when they were having their 10 year anniversary specials. maybe it's because their prices were knocked back to 1998 levels that the place was so busy, but first and foremost, the waiting room was so crowded and so noisy! it was definitely NOT a relaxing atmosphere, although i could see how it would be when it wasn't so busy. the ladies' changing area was lovely, very well stocked, even had yummy treats! my facial was quite nice, and the woman who gave me my facial was lovely. she gave me some insight into my skin and so far her advice has been very helpful! my massage was less exciting....he had very rough hands that seemed callused, which is one of the last thing a massage therapist's hands should be!! i specifically asked him to work on my neck and shoulders and he barely got into any knots. i also understand what another reviewer said about the shaky/squeaky tables sounding like they were going to break....the table was a little wobbly, but i was never concerned that i would go crashing to the ground. all in all, i will not be going back to oasis, it doesn't seem worth the money to me for a massage....although i might consider it for a facial if they do another special (or perhaps spa week). Pros: nice facilities if they weren't so noisy and crowded, good facial Cons: bad massage, very noisy and crowded when i was there
