Review content:
AVOID; A-1 is unsafe, unethical, rude, and does a bad job.A-1 left a trap, took our money, then neglected the trap for weeks. Because the bait had washed away, no squirrel was caught for roughly one month.
The owner informed us that he hadn't been able to check the trap as frequently as usual because his employee--the man who made the service call into my home with my 8.5-month pregnant wife--had been arrested on felony charges and is in jail. The owner said that for a few days, we, therefore, needed to do that person's job of checking the trap. I explained that I couldn't because I was in the Labor and Delivery room and would be in the hospital with my wife and newborn for a few days. A-1 responded by removing the trap and keeping my money.
So, one month later, we still have the squirrel--now clawing above where the newborn was to have slept--we have no trap, and we have given A-1 our money. And we had the pleasure of spending time on the phone with the owner, who couldn't have acted like a bigger jerk and who expected us to do his job when his employee was arrested.
