This review isn't about the business as a whole, but rather an employee that if you see, you should just turn around and walk back out. I went to get a last minute haircut and I had heard good things about TopCut from others. After a short wait I was paired up with 'Chrissy' (that may not be the correct spelling.) Who asked me how I wanted my hair cut. I described the cut the same way I have for the last four years, and she started to work. Things quickly degenerated, and without any discernible reason Chrissy got grouchy and frustrated. I tried my best to be polite and kind (as she was still holding the scissors) but despite my best efforts to explain what I wanted (even indicating with my fingers how long it needed to be cut on the top, sides and back.) she threw up her hands and said "I give up! Some other girl will have to do it!" --seriously? I've gotten this cut at about six different salons, and I have never in the past even been questioned, let alone abandoned in the chair! Even if you feel that a simple, short haircut is beyond your skill level, let the customer know *before* you start cutting it! I couldn't even escape because my hair had already been chopped up! Thankfully Cherry, once finished with the cut she was working on, came to my rescue and gave me a cute (if slightly too short) haircut after Chrissy gave up hacking at it. I'd recommend Cherry if you must go there, but I'll never be back, as I'm not sure I could be polite to Chrissy if faced with her again.
