Businiess name:  Taco Mac Chattanooga
Review by:  Sheila C.
Review content:
Taco Mac is a Tex-Mex style restaurant that originally opened in Atlanta, Georgia in 1979, and gained quite a reputation for their spicy Buffalo Wings. They have since expaneded to Chattanooga and are conveniently located in the trendy Jack's Alley restaurant area downtown. The restaurant is also well know for having one of the best selections of draught beer and micro-brews in the area. Besides their famous wings, he restaurant offers a varied menu, including such Tex-Mex favorites as fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, and tacos. The menu also features burgers, salads, and sandwiches. They also offer grilled favorites such as chicken and salmon. Taco Mac has a sort of neighborhood sports bar atmosphere, and is a great place to watch football games in the fall. They have a brisk happy hour and the service is normally fast and friendly. Prices are also in the moderate range. I would rate Taco Mac, one of the best restaurants in the downtown Chattanooga area. The food is always good and the atmosphere lively. Because of the location, it can get crowded early, especially on the weekend, so I recommend arriving early. If you are looking for a good meal at a reasonable price, and a good beer selection, Taco Mac is hard to beat. The menu is varied enough to please both fans of Tex-Mex and good old American fare as well. Ole'
