Ohlsons Bakery does have some good danishes and coffee. I've had some really good cakes and some not so good cakes there. I was going to buy my wedding cake there and it was pretty expensive.
I wouldn't have really cared if it had been worth it but a few months before a friend of mine got married and her cake was awful. It was very dry and it just was not that good. I guess they freeze their cakes ahead of time which does make them dry. I also bought my husbands birthday cake there and he said the ones I make at home are better. He was not that impressed. The cakes are really beautiful there. But what good is it if it doesn't taste good. They also charge for every bead and thing they put on there. My friends cake was small and she paid twice as much as me and hers was much smaller and it was not as good. I obviously did not get my wedding cake from here. The coffee and things are good. I think their reputation is over rated.
