Prior to coming to Metropolitan Medical Associates I was planning to go to a Planned Parenthood. The staff at the Planned Parenthood were extremely rude and on top of that wanted to charge $700 for their services. They were reluctant to help me or make the process any easier for me knowing that I am a full time student, do not work a full time job, and have no medical insurance.
Very distraught over my experience there, I thankfully came across Met. Med. Associates in an online search. I called and spoke to staff who were extrememly helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions and if someone couldn't, they put someone on the line who could.
When I went in for my scheduled appointment I was taken in to start the process in a timely manner, did not have to wait long at all. I felt like it was a judgement free place because everyone is there for the same reasons. The staff never once questioned my decision or tried to sway me into chosing a different route. The staff was very attentive and always asking if I had any questions, eager to help, which is always nice. The cost was extremely reasonable ($390) with everything included: lab work, procedure, follow-up, etc.
I think this is a great place for women to go when they need services and if they have any questions at all regarding abortions and pregnancy.
