"i'm a ramblin wreck from georgia tech..." One of the most renown engineering schools in the nation, Georgia Tech provides a quality curriculum at a great cost. Tech is currently ranked the 9th public university in the nation (2005), and several of its engineering programs are in the top 10, with Industrial and Systems Engineering coming in 1st place for the 15th year in a row. Other programs of note are pure sciences, computer science, and management. Tech is a division 1-A school with several varsity athletic programs. Situated on the edge of downtown Atlanta, the location provides several benefits while retaining a small-college feel.
