Review content:
This by far is my most favorite local eating establishment!! Is a small locally owned bar/restaurant on the main street of Luzerne PA. Upon entering you walk into the "bar side" with nice local people all around. No hooligans here!! You are seated in the dinning area that both offers smoking and non smoking seating. The decor is all antique photos of your great great grandmother and other various portraits of a day far past. It is a little dark in there with a little light emulating for the small table candle. Various soft drinks with a large beer/wine/mixed drink list. Strawberry daiquiris are my regular favorite. MADE W? REAL STRAWBERRIES and topped with whipped cream. The menu offers plenty of starters and entrées with both a health and unhealthy options. If you are in the mood for sliced veggies you have a chose of steamed, breaded and fried, or raw with homemade ranch dressing!! Mmmmmmmmm.
Entrées are all traditional as steamed shrimp and roast beef to sizzling fahitas and chicken wing bobolis. Portions are HEAPING out of the basket (which all the food comes in) with a pickles and small portion of a salad (ex pasta, potato, cole). ALL meals are well under $10. You can easily feed a family of four for under $60. My husband and I frequent there have appetizers, alcoholic drinks, and a entrée and rarely go over $30!!!
